Striking oversized sculptural link necklace featuring massive interlocking links in a deep burgundy/oxblood color.

The material has an especially attractive optical quality: under normal lighting it appears extremely dark burgundy, while strong backlighting reveals a rich translucent ruby-red coloration, as shown in the photographs.

The exaggerated scale and organic, hand-formed appearance give the necklace a strong Modernist / wearable-art / avant-garde designer aesthetic. Alternating large rounded links and smaller twisted links create substantial dimension and movement.
