Inspired by the original 1953 Fifty Fathoms dive watch, this piece pays homage to Blancpain’s pioneering dive watch. The Green Abyss features a deep green bioceramic case and crown, measuring approximately 1.67 inches (42.3 mm) in diameter and 0.57 inches (14.4 mm) thick, with a 1.89-inch (48.0 mm) lug-to-lug distance. The innovative bioceramic material, made from castor oil, offers exceptional strength and flexibility, ensuring durability and comfort.

The dial showcases a dark green hue with black accents, vintage Blancpain logo, and a bi-color liquid contact indicator at 6 o'clock. The hands and indices are coated with Grade A Super-LumiNova®, providing excellent visibility underwater. The unidirectional bezel, crafted from bioceramic with a black resin insert, features vintage Super-LumiNova® for enhanced readability.

Powered by the SISTEM51 automatic movement with a 90-hour power reserve, this watch includes a digital print of deep-sea creatures, inspired by the Felimare picta. It is water-resistant up to 50 fathoms (91 meters / 300 feet / 9 ATM). The scratch-resistant glass is made from bio-based materials, aligning with eco-conscious design.

The strap is a two-piece NATO style, crafted from recycled fishing nets, with a bioceramic pin buckle and loops, emphasizing sustainability. No noticeable scratches or stains are present, and the watch is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use.
