In October 2005, the unit underwent a complete overhaul at Alpine Customer Service.

During the overhaul, the "nose piece (entire front panel)" and "volume rotary control" were replaced with brand-new parts by the manufacturer.

As a result, there is no wear on the printed lettering or shine on the buttons. The green illumination also lights up perfectly.

The "CD pickup lens" and "clutch gear" were also replaced with brand-new parts at the same time.

This unit has received the most effective countermeasure for its known issue of CD reading failures.

The original owner's manual is included.

After the repair was completed, the unit was carefully stored, so the front panel is in virtually like-new condition.

The full copper-plated chassis on the rear and bottom shows some oxidation and discoloration due to age, which is characteristic of pure copper.

The item has been tested and confirmed to be operational.
