A beautifully composed mid-20th-century coastal landscape painting depicting Ryde Foreshore at low tide on the Isle of Wight, looking out across the Solent. Painted by architect and artist David Law McKee, who resided at La Quinta, Bouldnor, Yarmouth.
The piece captures the vast, dramatic British sky, low-tide mudflats, and distant coastal/industrial silhouettes on the horizon line. Signed "D. L. McKEE" on the front lower left, with full artist details on the back, see photo.
The painting is in good vintage condition with bright, stable paint. The frame is a little loose but intact and shows minor, age-appropriate storage wear. Please note this piece is traditionally un-glazed (no glass).

Measures 64 x 52cm.
