U.K. SUBS - LIVE IN PARIS - ORIGINAL RARE UK ISSUE.

The U.K. Subs were among the earliest in the first wave of Punk, they formed in 1976 and the mainstay of the band has been vocalist Charlie Harper, originally a singer in Britain's R&B scene he witnessed the Birth of punk and got involved.

Charlie and the lads quickly attracted a substantial following due to the fact their songs were furiously to the point and as direct as a sledgehammer, also their output was incredible with new songs being written and recorded at an incredible pace.

They were regulars during the lifetime of the legendary Roxy club, were one of the first punk bands to do a peel session and have singles and albums in the national charts.

In interview Charlie revealed his ambition with the subs was to record an Album for every letter of the alphabet, the music press said it was impossible so Charlie and the band simply proved them wrong.

The Subs always respected their fans, delivering one quality album after the next, the subs were Charlie's life and he simply didn't want to do anything else, show me a punk fan who doesn't like the subs and I will show you a liar.

The body of work the band has produced is vast, their commitment is undeniable and their punk rock legacy is unsurpassed....I for one salute you Charlie....BORN A ROCKER - DIE A ROCKER.

This original rare release was recorded live at one of the Subs legendary gigs in Paris so don't miss out on this and it also contains the original order form for the Subs VHS concert tape.

This is an essential addition to any UK Subs or Punk record collection and it's in overall decent condition for its age.

Very light storage wear to the sleeve - so an absolutely essential subs purchase.
