Description:

HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus wireless color all in one inkjet printer. This unit provides printing, copying, scanning, and fax capabilities and features a 4.3 inch color touchscreen display, wireless networking, Ethernet connectivity, automatic two sided printing, and an automatic document feeder.

This printer is used and in good overall cosmetic condition for its age. It powers on and the touchscreen display comes on as shown in the photos. The unit was sold to us as being in working condition. We have not completed a full print quality test because the printer needs replacement ink cartridges. An ink cartridge related message does appear when the printer is first powered on.

The printer uses HP 950 Black and HP 951 Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow individual ink cartridges. Replacement ink cartridges are required and are not included with the sale. Compatible 950XL and 951XL cartridges are also widely available for the OfficeJet Pro 8600 series.

Because the exact age of the currently installed cartridges and the length of time the printer may have been sitting are unknown, the printer may require approximately two or three printhead or ink system cleaning cycles after replacement cartridges are installed. Additional maintenance could be necessary depending upon the condition of the printhead and ink system.

The scanner glass is intact and appears to be in good condition with no major scratches observed. The automatic document feeder, paper tray, touchscreen, scanner assembly, USB and memory card area, networking connections, and exterior housing are present as shown in the photos. Normal cosmetic wear, dust, light marks, and scratches are present from previous use.

This printer is best suited for a buyer who already owns an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 series printer and needs a replacement unit, or a buyer who is familiar with setting up and maintaining older inkjet printers. Buyer should be comfortable installing replacement cartridges, performing printhead and nozzle cleaning procedures, connecting the printer to a computer or network, and completing normal printer setup.

No original owners manual is included. Technical setup assistance and printer troubleshooting after the sale are not included. HP support resources, online documentation, or instructional videos should be used for setup and maintenance assistance.

Includes the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus printer and power cord shown. No new ink cartridges, USB printer cable, Ethernet cable, telephone cable, software discs, original packaging, or other accessories are included unless specifically shown in the photos.

The unit was sold to us in working condition, but a complete print quality test has not been performed because replacement ink cartridges are required.
