The coins are presented across two elegant wooden cases, lined with velvet, each containing 12 coins. They are inlayed on copper silver-plated discs featuring famous British buildings and protected by individual plastic cases. Each pre-decimal coin has been gold-plated and has a small accompanying information leaflet.
These items are in excellent condition - the boxes are showing some wear on the outside but the inside and the coins themselves are pristine.
One of the card inlays lining the lid of the box has been written on (see photo) but this is on the reverse side and can not be seen when item is displayed.
