This is a black Van Staal spinning reel (left-hand retrieve). I believe the size is either a 250 or a 300, but I have lost track of the exact model since it has been a long time since I last used it (there are no size markings on the reel itself). There are some minor scratches on the exterior. The rotation has become stiff while it was sitting on display unused; I suspect the grease has hardened over time, though I cannot say for certain as I am not an expert on the mechanics.
