Stevens & Williams Peach Cased Vase with Amber Rigaree - Uranium Glow 

Up for sale is a beautiful piece of late 19th-century Victorian art glass, closely resembling the style and craftsmanship of Stevens & Williams or similar high-end Stourbridge makers. This exquisite small cased glass basket features a milky white exterior opacifying into a striking, vibrant pink ruffled and crimped top rim accented with an amber crest. 

The body is adorned with heavily textured, applied amber glass rigaree that forms a leaf motif and loops into a small decorative handle. The amber glass is highly UV reactive and emits a brilliant neon green glow under a blacklight due to its uranium content.
