The postcard has been postally used and is postmarked Christchurch, 26 November 1910. It retains its original green King Edward VII Half Penny postage stamp, together with a period handwritten message and address.

The sender even refers to the bridge in the message, writing that it is the one between Christchurch and Southbourne, adding an interesting piece of contemporary context.

A lovely piece of Edwardian local and transport history, particularly suitable for collectors of Christchurch, Tuckton, Southbourne, early tramways, electric trams and Dorset/Hampshire local history.
