CFH is for Charles Field Haviland, an American-born entrepreneur who operated a porcelain factory and decorating business in Limoges in the late 19th century.
GDM is for Gérard, Dufraisseix et Morel, the successor firm that took over the operations from Haviland, and used combined backstops in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
The mark on this piece was usually used on whiteware blanks and finished porcelain pieces made from 1882-1900.
