The SMARTPAX QC control unit is the hardware interface between your Dataton TRAX show programming software and the presentation device you want to control.

One SMARTPAX QC can control four different presentation devices, such as laserdisc or CD players, lighting systems, slide or video projectors. Devices connect to the SMARTPAX QC unit with smartlink cables. Dedicated and general purpose smartlinks, supporting most kinds of presentation devices, are available from Dataton.

SMARTPAX QC units may be daisy-chained with Dataton SYSTEM CABLE for complex control rigs. The SMARTPAX QC is powered either from the device controlled or externally.

The QC in SMARTPAX QC stands for Quick Configure which means that the unit is fast and easy to install in a control rig. Device addresses and control protocols are set automatically from Dataton TRAX software. The SMARTPAX QC also has an easy-to-use selector dial, and LED indicators on the front to facilitate system set-up.
