While compactly packing in functions it never compromises on sound quality featuring a total of six instrument types including four organs (including the B-3) a string ensemble keyboard and a polyphonic synthesizer. It covers the vintage sounds of the 70s that resonate with today's music scene. ~Introducing all 6 sounds~ (B-3) The Hammond organ B-3 produced from 1955 to 1974. Equipped with the new sound engine Modelled Tone Wheel 2 MTW2 that meticulously reproduces the 91 tone wheels that are the heart of vintage Hammond organs. It also features Hammond's unique virtual multi-contact function. (Vx) British-made transistor organ from the 1960s (Farf) Italian-made transistor organ from the 1960s-1970s (Ace) Japanese-made transistor organ from the 1960s-1970s (Ens) String ensemble keyboard from the 1970s (Syn) Simple polyphonic synthesizer from the 1970s ~About the drawbars the essence of the Hammond organ~ The essence of the Hammond organ lies in being able to change the timbre after striking a key using several rods called drawbars or tone bars lined up from the center to the left of the instrument. The term drawbar in English means draw out and bar and as the name suggests it is the part that changes the timbre by pulling out or pushing in the rods. You can freely manipulate the timbre according to the range of change of the drawbars. In the M-solo the drawbars not only create the tone of the (B-3) but also function differently depending on the instrument type. For example in the (Vx) they act as a mixer to adjust the brightness and darkness of the tone and in the (Syn) they act as a filter and volume controller. In all cases operation is simple and intuitive requiring only sliding the drawbars forward and backward. It also features three patch buttons allowing for quick saving and recall with simple operation.
