Original vintage real photographic postcard showing The Esplanade and Pier at Deal, Kent, viewed from the Beach Hotel.

An excellent detailed pre-war street scene with Deal’s old pier, seafront pavilion, numerous pedestrians, early motor cars, buses/coaches, commercial vehicles and local shops and cafés.

Of particular interest is the Beachbrow building and the busy commercial seafront immediately beside the pier.
