There are no fatal flaws such as bends, cracks in the edge, or major chips. The blade is in beautiful overall condition, although there are minor age-related scratches and a small forging flaw on the mune near the habaki. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.

Explanation:

This is an antique Japanese wakizashi with an unsigned blade (mumei) housed in a shirasaya.

The blade features a beautiful notare hamon with midare activity within the waves, creating an elegant and lively temper pattern.

With a blade length of 51.0 cm, a graceful curvature of 1.4 cm, and a substantial width of 30.0 mm, the sword has an attractive and well-balanced shape.

The blade weight is 436 g, giving it a light yet responsive feel suitable for appreciation, collection, iaido, batto, or tameshigiri use.

A Japanese registration certificate from Okayama Prefecture (No. 92879, issued August 31, 1978), a sword bag, and ownership transfer documents are included.
