This is a vintage Safari camp bed. Possibly late military?? Circa 1950-1960's Please do your own research. There are signs of wear and tear as would be expected though age and use. These are primarily some small dirt marks to the canvas and some marks to the metal parts. ALL RUBBER feet on bars. (The feet stop scratching for indoor use). Very strong Canvas comes apart in middle and is rolled up with removed bars and secured with the two 'intact' ribbons.  

Very strong canvas and strong removable sprung legs.  This item has a heavy canvas and quality steel construction typical of British mid century military and civilian camping gear produced in post -war era.

Ideal vintage for caravan or Retro camper van (similar fabric to my old Westfalia bunks) etc or military shows etc.

Incredible comfy- I tried it out!  Easy to put up. Please see the general condition of the bed, as can be seen in the photographs. The bed measures approximately 190 cm in length (6ft) , is 79 cm (2.5 ft) wide and 18 cm tall. It weighs approx 4.8 kilos.
