Vintage Motorola US WEST MegaPhone 3-Watt Transportable Cellular Bag Phone

This is an original Motorola US WEST MegaPhone transportable/bag cellular telephone system, complete with its Motorola carrying case and an impressive assortment of original components and accessories.

The system presents in excellent vintage condition and has clearly been well kept. The handset and keypad are particularly clean, with bright lettering and buttons, and the original Motorola case displays beautifully.

CONDITION: The overall cosmetic condition is excellent for its age. The exterior Motorola carrying case is especially attractive, retaining its embossed Motorola logo and clean appearance.

The handset, keypad, display area, cords, transceiver and accessories are also very clean.

Please note: The fabric accessory pocket inside the carrying case shows some age-related crinkling and a few snags. This is cosmetic and is shown in the photographs.

The electronics have not been tested, so the system is being sold as untested. The original Motorola sealed lead-acid battery is included for completeness and collectibility, but due to its age, no representation is made regarding its ability to charge or hold a charge.

This telephone was designed for the now-obsolete analog cellular network and will not operate on today’s cellular networks.
