This large armorial porcelain serving tureen was made circa 1890s , there are no makers marks and I do not know who made it .
It bears an armorial crown with the name Stephan Wassillo on both pieces .
Stephan Wassillo Von Serecki was in 1869 at Berhometh Castle and died in Saltzburg in 1933 , he was a member of the Austro-Hungarian Empire . It was probably made for his wedding in 1894 .
It is decorated with blue transfer prints of Chinese pagoda scenes .
It stands at 7 7/8" high and measures 12 7/8" in diameter across the handles .
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks and no glaze crazing .
The gilding is good with just some wear to the corners of the handles .
