This porcelain plate was made by Coalport and bears the retailors mark of Daniel London on the base .
It was made for use at the Royal Banquet at the guildhall in London , where the newly wed Prince and Princes of Wales (later King Edward 7th and Queen Alexandra) were granted the freedom of the city in 1863 .
It bears the Prince of Wales crest and the arms of the city of London .
It measures 10 1/4" in diameter .
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks and no glaze crazing , the gilding is good .
