What is a Fuel Pump Hanger Assembly?
A fuel pump hanger assembly is the in-tank unit that holds the electric fuel pump and its fuel tubes in position inside the fuel tank. The metal tubes in Delphi hangers are routed so they do not contact the tank at any point, eliminating noise and vibration while driving. Each assembly comes with its strainer, and on applicable models the fuel level sending unit is integrated, with float height and retention matched to OE specifications for a correct gas gauge reading. Built to Delphi's OE standards, every hanger is validated, tested and matched to the right vehicle application.
