Kellogg’s Cereal – Neptune and his Seabed Serenaders – orange Sammy Seahorse, 1970.
This is a nice example of one of the eight scarce Neptune and his Seabed Serenaders plastic figures that were given in boxes of Kellogg’s Puffa Puffa Rice cereal in the UK in 1970. (They were made by R&L of Australia, where they had a slightly different name and also more figures were issued). Each figure was available in a number of colours to ensure that you would have to eat yourself into total obesity to get anywhere near obtaining all of the variations of the figures that were issued. This is Sammy Seahorse who is a bright oragne colour. He is in lovely clean condition with no splits or bite marks etc.
