Carry On Dick – 1974 Fox-Rank Marketing Campaign Folder.
A good example of a Fox-Rank Marketing Campaign folder for the 1974 movie Carry On Girls. The orange and brown paper wallet measures 11” x 8½”. It contains five good-quality sheets that are printed on both sides – with information. (Two are actually duplicates) One has the Story of the movie on one side and a Cast and Credits list on the back. One shows all of the movie posters and lobby-cards that are available to promote the movie. And the third has Editorial Blocks – photos and paragraphs of information that can be used by the press. The back describes various promotional tools. In addition, there is is one more single-sided sheet titled Carry On Dick – Press Story – Sid James as ‘Big Dick’ Turpin in Carry on Dick. All of the items – including the folder – are in lovely clean and flat condition. It has been stored somewhere dark and dry.
