Decorative brass carriage clock with Roman numeral dial signed Robt. Blandford 1873 and fitted with an Alain movement. The clock has been wound but is not currently running and is therefore being sold strictly for repair, restoration or spares. It will require a full service or further investigation by a competent clockmaker before use. The clock has broken glass panels, as shown in the photographs, and these will require repair or replacement. I will package the clock as carefully and securely as possible; however, due to the existing damaged glass and the weight of the brass case, it is possible that the cracked glass may deteriorate further during transit despite careful packing. By purchasing, you acknowledge the clock is being sold as a restoration project with existing glass damage, and any further movement of the already damaged glass in transit should be taken into consideration. The brass case has light age related marks, scratches and signs of use consistent with age. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition.
