Description
This is a genuine 1931 Portuguese 1 Escudo coin, minted during the Second Portuguese Republic period. It features the iconic design of the Republic's profile on the obverse and the national coat of arms on the reverse. A wonderful historic addition to any world coin collection.
Condition
The coin is in circulated condition, showing visible wear and flattening on the high-points of the portrait and shield details. It retains a nice, clean light silver-grey tone with light surface scratches, edge wear, and minor dirt build-up consistent with its age and circulation.
