THE CHANCE VOUGHT F4U-4 to F4U-7 CORSAIR

This series
was started back in the early 1960s and takes the form of a small format, soft
cover booklet with 12 or more pages.
Illustrations are generally black & white photographs (though some
later ones had some colour) with two or more pages of colour profiles. In addition, summaries of aircraft
specification, performance and armament are detailed. Many of these booklets can still be a useful
reference tool and are highly sought after little books are an invaluable
resource for aviation historians, modellers and collectors alike.

Condition: Very good, there
are no staples as this issue is bound by adhesive – having originated from a
bound volume. Rubbing is evident along
the length of the spine crease. Some ink
staining on the spine area of the back cover page from the front page of copy bound
below it; common on these early publications where the pink / red ink from the
front cover page wasn’t 100% sealed.
