The signet ring is one of the oldest continuous jewelry forms in existence — worn by Roman officials to press wax seals into official documents, carried through medieval nobility as a mark of family identity, and eventually settling into a piece every generation reinterprets for itself. What made a signet a signet was never really the engraving — it was the blank, waiting face, ready to be personalized with initials, a crest, or nothing at all. This one has never been engraved. It arrives exactly as it was made: an open invitation rather than a finished statement.

And then there is the ring itself.

An oval face, 12.5mm by 6.8mm, sits raised at the center, its surface finished with a fine brushed texture that catches light without reflecting it sharply — the classic signet treatment, ready for a monogram or left as-is for a more textural, minimalist look. The shoulders on either side carry a matching decorative pattern: fluted, star-cut detailing that mirrors the texture of the face and gives the ring visual continuity from front to back. The band itself is a substantial 2.5mm wide, built for a man's or larger hand — this is a size 11, sized to sit solidly rather than delicately. The interior is stamped "10K" alongside a maker's hallmark.
