Explanation:

This is an antique Japanese wakizashi with no signature (mumei), measuring almost the length of a katana at approximately 1 shaku 9 sun.

The blade features a lively midare hamon with rich internal activities (hataraki) visible within the temper line, giving the sword an impressive and dynamic appearance.

It is housed in a plain shirasaya mounting and has a strong traditional atmosphere suitable for collectors of Japanese swords and historical Japanese arms.
