Jamaican E.T. captures Lee “Scratch” Perry deep into his late‑period cosmic phase, blending roots reggae, dub experimentation and eccentric spoken‑word passages with the unmistakable Black Ark spirit. Originally released in 2002 and awarded a Grammy for Best Reggae Album, this 2023 Music On Vinyl reissue presents the full work across two gold‑coloured LPs, housed in a limited edition package in collaboration with Trojan Records. The album moves between spiritual chants, playful electronics and Perry’s trademark off‑kilter production, offering a vivid snapshot of his otherworldly creative universe.
