Autoranging behavior: The 6030A is designed to automatically switch between voltage regulation and current regulation to maintain the programmed setpoint or to protect the load. When the load demands more current than the set voltage can supply, the supply will enter CC mode and limit current; when current demand is below the limit, it returns to CV mode.
