Photographic Portrait, not an engraved sepia image,  of Presidential ASSASSIN John Wilkes Booth taken by ALEXANDER GARDNER on JANUARY 26th,  1865. The imagery is clear and highly detailed with Hand Colored Stars surrounding his Imagery. The borders are straight and the corners are sharp and intact. There is minor age soiling but No Foxing.

Has No Gallery Backing. There is a beautiful 2 Cent Revenue Tax Stamp. The Tax Stamp is hand canceled in Black Ink with a "Slash" The Revenue Stamp is VIBRANT with no damage. The Overall EYE APPEAL is SUPERB.
