The LUC S1 is a vintage front-mounted mechanical lens shutter made in Germany for large-format and historic brass lenses. These accessory shutters mount to the front of a lens barrel via clamping screws, offering manual control over exposures for older lenses that lack internal shutters.

  • Release: Operated via a mechanical cable release to yield approximate instantaneous speeds (often around 1/25s to 1/8s depending on the tention}.
