Vintage Pirelli promotional mini American football helmet manufactured by Riddell.

Believed to date from approximately 1996, this unusual promotional piece combines classic Riddell football helmet styling with prominent period Pirelli advertising decals. It has a white shell, navy-blue centre stripe and face mask, red Pirelli logos on both sides, a padded interior and four-point Riddell chin strap.

An interesting crossover collectible for enthusiasts of vintage advertising, Pirelli automobilia, tyre-company memorabilia and American football helmets. Its generic Pirelli design makes it quite different from the usual team-branded Riddell mini helmets.
