Original early 1900s official Midland Railway colour postcard showing Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire, the former home of poet Lord Byron.
Features a large view of the abbey with a smaller inset view of the courtyard and fountain. The front advertises Newstead Station.
The reverse displays the Midland Railway crest and “The Best Route for Comfortable Travel and Picturesque Scenery.”
