Item Description:

This auction is for an old used key wind pocket watch that was recently purchased from a local estate. When I opened the back up I noticed that the fast slow adjustment indicator was way off from where it should be and the watch would not run. I moved the indicator back in the middle of the fast and slow setting and it will run for a while if I lay the watch down but if I move the watch around sometimes it will stop again. So I believe this watch will need some work to get it working like it should.

The case measures 56.9mm wide. The case shows wear with tarnish, scratches and some small dings. The crystal has some scratches with a couple of deeper scratches that I can feel with my fingernail. The inside of the back cover is marked Fahys Ore Silver No 1. 

The whole watch movement comes out of the case easily. The movement is marked Broadway, Waltham Mass. The inside of the movement cover is marked Pat Apr 22, 1884, it is also marked July 1 under that but I cannot make it all out.
