This old edition is complete but had seen better days. It appears that two different cello tape repair sessions were performed many years ago. A number of the signatures that make up the textblock had broken down, with many entirely separated. The old tape was almost entirely removed but much of the old, dried yellow glue remains behind. A new spine and hinges were constructed. Many  signatures were reinforced with Japan paper and/or archival polyester tape. Dozens of small tears were repaired with archival tape. Any 122 year old book needs to be treated with respect but this one can be handled and read. Other than a few random, minor ink marks the volume is notation free. It is not ex library.
