Offered is an original eighteenth-century commercial broadside titled "Price Current for North-America," dated London, the 24th Day of August, 1768.

This scarce trade circular lists contemporary London prices and import duties for commodities imported from Britain's North American colonies only a few years before the American Revolution.

Among the commodities listed are:

• Mahogany
• Logwood
• Lignum Vitae
• Rum
• Turpentine
• Tar
• Sassafras
• Indigo
• Cotton
• Ginger
• Beaver, Otter, Fox, Mink, Raccoon and other furs
• Timber and staves
• Spanish milled dollars and gold coin values

The sheet also contains contemporary manuscript entries recording market prices.

Printed in London on handmade laid paper with visible watermark.

An excellent example of colonial Atlantic commerce and the British mercantile system immediately preceding the American Revolution.
