Important Notes

Dimensional Tolerance: Product dimensions are measured manually; a reasonable tolerance of ±1–3 mm applies to the overall unit, which does not constitute a quality issue.

UV Safety Warning: UVC ultraviolet light can cause irreversible damage to the eyes and skin. Do not look directly at the light source whilst the lamp is energised, and do not operate the unit with the housing open. When replacing the lamp or performing maintenance, ensure the unit is completely de-energised and wait for 5 minutes before proceeding to avoid UV exposure.

Installation and Operating Guidelines:

The unit must be installed on a cold water supply line; the inlet water temperature must not exceed 45°C, as this may damage the lamp and quartz sleeve, resulting in reduced disinfection efficiency.

The maximum inlet water pressure must not exceed 15 bar (218 psi). If the water supply pressure exceeds this limit, a pressure-reducing valve must be installed in advance; operating at excessive pressure may cause the chamber to leak or rupture.

The unit must be installed downstream of a pre-filtration system (with a filtration rating of ≥5 μm). Incoming water must be pre-treated to remove silt, rust and suspended solids to prevent impurities from adhering to the quartz sleeve, which would impair UV light transmission and disinfection efficacy.

This product is intended solely for the disinfection of clean water and drinking water. Its use in non-potable water applications, such as sewage or chemical wastewater, is strictly prohibited.

Maintenance and Replacement Requirements: The rated service life of the UV lamp is 12,000 hours. Even if the lamp continues to emit light, UV output will significantly diminish once this lifespan is exceeded; it is recommended to replace the lamp on schedule to ensure effective disinfection. The quartz sleeve must be cleaned every 6 months to remove limescale and impurities. If the O-ring shows signs of ageing or cracking, it must be replaced promptly to prevent leakage.
