This is LAMP TWO of a matched pair of oil/kerosene lamps -- LAMP ONE is in a companion listing. Manufactured by Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation in Brooklyn, NY, (which later became the Perko marine hardware company we know today). A family member who worked for a marine salvage company beginning in the 1920s likely bought them as salvage in the 1930s or later, and they have been in the family ever since. Making room now, so they are for sale. Unmolested, unmodified, glass original and undamaged, and fully operational. The top opens for lighting, the fuel canister unclips to remove from the bottom for wick adjustment or replacement, and the wick advance assembly easily unscrews from the canister for refueling. Some wear and tear overall, some residual (and removable) Brasso in the seams from the 1960s when the kids had to clean them, but not abused or neglected. In very good condition for its age.
