On February 16 1954 Marilyn Monroe arrived at the K-16 airfield in South Korea on a transport plane from Itami Airport. She visited the 1st Marine Division and the 7th Infantry Division to provide entertainment. During this visit Marilyn Monroe stayed at the barracks of the 7th Infantry Division where a sign proudly proclaimed "Marilyn slept here." This artwork is a collage combining the image of Marilyn Monroe lying down with the insignia of the 7th Infantry Division.
