Medarot, known internationally as Medabots, is a Japanese animated series set in a world where intelligent robots called Medarots live alongside humans.
The story follows a young boy named Ikki Tenryou, who becomes the owner of a Kabuto-type Medarot named Metabee. Although the two often argue because of Metabee’s stubborn personality, they gradually develop a strong friendship through numerous Robattles.
Together with their friends, Ikki and Metabee participate in exciting robot battles and face various rivals, including the mysterious RoboRobo Gang. The anime combines action, comedy, friendship, and adventure.
Metabee is a yellow Kabuto beetle-type Medarot and the main partner of Ikki Tenryou. His official model name is Metal Beetle.
He specializes in powerful shooting attacks using the weapons equipped on his head and arms. Metabee is hot-blooded, confident, stubborn, and highly competitive. He frequently argues with Ikki and sometimes refuses to follow his orders.
Despite his difficult personality, Metabee is brave, loyal, and deeply cares about his friends. His distinctive yellow armor, large beetle-like horns, and energetic personality have made him one of the most iconic characters in the Medarot series.
