Antique American pocket watch, circa early 1880s. 18-size, 17-jewel Hampden-made movement, lever-set, with fine damaskeened nickel finish and blued steel hands. The movement is signed “W.T. Lloyd, Washington, Kans.” — a jeweler’s private-label name rather than the manufacturer’s own branding, a common practice for retail jewelers of the era. Movement serial #105402.

Case is marked “Defiance” (a silveroid/base-metal case, not solid silver), with an attractive hand-engraved back featuring a floral and railcar motif, and a coin-edge banding around the bezel. Case serial #3210467.

Condition: Currently runs fine and keeps time. Photos show the watch partially disassembled (crystal, bezel, and movement separated from the case) to clearly display the dial and movement condition — it reassembles normally. White enamel dial with red minute track and black Roman numerals is clean with no chips; please review photos closely for any hairlines. Sold as pictured.
