Antique 2 Part Metal Chocolate Mold St. Nicholas Father Christmas Italy Sourced
Description
Wonderful antique two part metal chocolate or ice cream mold depicting St. Nicholas, Father Christmas riding a donkey. Probably mfg in Germany or France but not marked and made during late 19th C or early 20th Century. Tinned sheet metal with hinged clamps along the bottom and sides to secure the two halves together. 5" tall by 5" wide and about 1.25" deep. All original but I do see some reinforcement soldering on main center hinge at donkeys head. Fabulous piece I found in Sorrento Italy while sourcing antiques!
