Up for sale is a stunning, highly decorative vintage Capodimonte-style porcelain centerpiece jardinière / bowl. Handcrafted in Italy during the mid-to-late 20th century (circa 1950s–1970s), this ornate piece features a classic Baroque/Rococo revival aesthetic.
The front and back showcase beautiful, dimensional relief panels depicting hand-painted cherubs (putti) playing in a lush landscape scenery. The sides are accented with intricate, molded pink flowers and a heavily scalloped rim. Rich gold gilt scrolling accents the edges, resting elegantly on an ornate, footed pedestal base.
The bottom features an authentic hand-painted gold backstamp containing a five-point crown over a stylized marker's mark, stamped "ITALY", alongside the individual factory/artist design number ** 1322/29**.
