Vintage sterling silver necklace featuring a smooth domed red cabochon held in a sculptural swirl-style pendant setting. The pendant hangs from a fine box chain with a spring-ring clasp.

Both the chain and clasp are marked 925. The red stone produces a Presidium reading around the jadeite/spinel range, but its exact identity has not been independently verified. It may be synthetic spinel, glass, dyed stone, or another red cabochon material.

Good vintage preowned condition with noticeable patina, tarnish, scratches, and surface wear to the silver. The chain shows dark oxidation but appears intact in the provided photos. The red cabochon has light surface wear and appears secure. Please review all close-up photographs.
