An antique Coalport porcelain dinner plate, dating to approximately 1810, decorated in the highly desirable Kakiemon style Banded Hedge Chinoiserie pattern. The finely hand-painted decoration features flowering branches, birds, floral sprays, a basket of flowers and a decorative urn, all executed in vibrant enamels with gilt edging.

The plate has historic riveted staple repairs and age-related hairlines, demonstrating an early restoration carried out to preserve a valued piece. These traditional metal staple repairs are now regarded as part of the plate's history and are sought after by many collectors of early ceramics.

A genuine early 19th-century Coalport example, ideal for collectors of English porcelain, Georgian ceramics and Kakiemon-inspired wares.

Condition Good antique display condition considering its age. Historic metal staple repairs and associated hairlines are present, together with age-related wear, crazing and minor surface marks. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
