Selling a classic Canon Canonet QL17 G-III rangefinder camera. This unit has been dry tested only and is being sold with film results untested, requiring some attention to the aperture ring and a minor lens cleaning. Please see the detailed condition report below before bidding or purchasing.

Mechanical Condition:

• Shutter fires correctly at various speeds.

• Lens blades are clean and move freely.

• The self-timer is fully functional.

• Please Note: The aperture ring is quite stiff and firm to rotate, which will likely require a service or lubrication to smoothen out.

Electrical Condition:

• Electronics are unconfirmed and untested as I do not have the correct battery on hand.

• The battery compartment is mostly clean, though there is a small amount of light corrosion on the terminal contacts that may need a quick clean.

Optical Condition:

• The viewfinder is mostly clean and clear with just a small amount of typical dust present.

• Please Note: There appears to be a minor amount of internal fungus on the lens elements. I cannot confirm 100%, but I have done my best to capture this clearly in the listing photos.

Cosmetic Condition:

• The camera body is in pretty good cosmetic shape for its age.

• Shows minor scuffs and marks from general use, but there is no major structural damage or dents.

• The light seals look good and intact—they may have potentially been replaced by a previous owner in the past.

• Comes with the attached carry strap.

• Not included: Does not come with a lens cap.
