Rare 1950s Automoto Champion du Monde racing frame retailed by the famous  René Volet cycle shop in Dieppe. 56cm centre to top.

Nervex lugged. Frame is brazed for a double cable pull Simplex rear derailleur (although other types will work just as well). 26mm seat tube diameter.

A very light tubing material; frame, fork and BB etc. weighs just over 5lb! 

A beautiful lightweight classic French racing bike in excellent original condition. Nice straight drop outs. No damage.

Includes lightweight hollow axle Stronglight bottom bracket, period headset and period seat post bolt.

Serial number: 577015 (on rear drop out. Drop outs are also stamped with 'V'.

Seat tube measures 56cm centre to top, 54cm top tube,130mm headtube height and 120mm rear drop out width.
