Metal ceramic cutting edge is a high-performance turning blade designed specifically for precision and semi precision machining of steel parts. Its core feature is that it can provide excellent machining surface smoothness and stable tool life under high-speed and light cutting conditions

S:A square blade with 4 corners and a total of 8 cutting edges available is more economical than a triangular blade.
N: Negative front angle design, good blade strength, suitable for universal machining.
M: There are cylindrical holes and countersunk holes for screw clamping.
G: Double sided chip breaking groove, conducive to chip breakage and discharge.
12: The cutting edge length is 12.7mm.
04: The blade thickness is 4.76mm.
04: The radius of the blade tip arc is 0.4mm, which is a commonly used specification that balances blade strength and surface quality

Workpiece materials: carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and cast iron.
Processing methods: precision and semi precision machining of outer circles and inner holes, pursuing high surface quality.
Recommended cutting parameters (reference values): The cutting depth is within the range of 0.3-4mm, the feed rate can be adjusted within the range of 0.05-0.5mm/rev, and the line speed can reach 440m/min or above

❌  Conditions to avoid:
Rough machining: It is not suitable for rough machining processes with large cutting depth and feed rate.
Intermittent cutting: The toughness of metal ceramic materials is relatively lower than that of hard alloys. When processing surfaces with cast black skin, keyways, and other intermittent surfaces, it is easy to cause blade breakage. Extra care should be taken or a grade with better toughness should be selected.
Wet cutting: Due to its weak resistance to thermal shock, the intense alternation of hot and cold when using cutting fluid may cause thermal cracks in the blade. When conditions permit, dry cutting is the more recommended method.
