A rare and intimate document of two jazz greats in deep musical conversation, Duo Concert Frankfurt 1986 captures Pharoah Sanders and pianist John Hicks in a spellbinding live performance. Sanders’ spiritual, searching tenor tone meets Hicks’ lyrical, harmonically rich piano work in a set that moves effortlessly between meditative beauty, modal exploration and soulful improvisation.
Presented on 2×LP black vinyl, this edition restores a historic collaboration in warm, dynamic fidelity — an essential piece for collectors of spiritual jazz, modal classics and rare archival performances.
