A towering slice of 1970s cinematic soul, Truck Turner captures Isaac Hayes at full creative power — blending deep funk, orchestral soul, and gritty Blaxploitation swagger. Originally released in 1974, this 1999 UK Stax 2LP reissue preserves the full, hard‑hitting score: wah‑driven grooves, sweeping strings, and Hayes’ unmistakable rhythmic sensibility. A cornerstone soundtrack for collectors of funk, soul, and 70s film music.
